I have many plans for thanksgiving break. For example I will be hanging with my family and friends a lot, suppose to be going to a bonfire with some friends so that should be fun. I will also eat lots of foods such as turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and many more. We all need this break right now, to just chill watch TV and hang with good people. I will also go see the "Mocking Jay" it came out last night but I will be seeing it this weekend. Also, I will be going to my sister cheer competition which is always fun. I love thanksgiving break because you get to eat and be thankful for everyone in your life and you get a pause on your life for a week its great. I hope you all have a good thanksgiving as well, stay safe and eat a lot!

Most teen jobs could be in retail, or at a restaurant, or as simple as a grocery store. I have worked at a restaurant and I personally didn't like it. I think a job in retail would be more fun for girl teens around my age. You can have little or no job experience and still be able to work for these places. For a possibly interview you would have to prepare yourself for many many questions. You have to sound smart and like you know what you are doing or they might not choose you to work there. You have to look professional, like maybe just a nice shirt and a nice pair of pants unless you are going for a more higher up job, then you'd probably wear a skirt and a nice shirt. You don't want to look like you are trying to hard, or not at all. I had an opportunity to work at justice, but I had another job at the time. I think I would like to work a Justice, I would most likely just restock or handle merchandising and stuff like that. At food places it is really fast paste and i'm not super fast I like to keep things slow so I think retail would be the job for me. I might actually get a job there soon, not sure yet though. I just know a job right now in my life will be good for me. Jobs help a lot, they teach you responsibility and how to talk/handle people. I feel like those are the most likely jobs to allow teens to do. I would like to work at a retail place like Justice.

This movie I thought was amazing because I don't always realize the consequences of getting bad grades or not going to school but she had a daily reminder, her parents. Honestly, If my mom died and my dad had AIDS and a drug addiction the first thing on my mind wouldn't be going to school. I think it is incredible I wish I looked at education the same way she did, I don't always try my best. I also make up excuses why I cant do my work or homework and stuff. She is such a strong person, she pushed herself, she did the 'impossible' and made it possible. Liz Murray was a dreamer but she made her dreams a reality and I respect her so much for pushing herself more than anyone had ever pushed her in her life. I liked how she didn't ever feel bad for herself. It is an amazing story and really is an eye opener. She wanted to strive to be something better than what she came from she wanted to be better than her past and she did. I loved the movie, it was great.
