This movie I thought was amazing because I don't always realize the consequences of getting bad grades or not going to school but she had a daily reminder, her parents. Honestly, If my mom died and my dad had AIDS and a drug addiction the first thing on my mind wouldn't be going to school. I think it is incredible I wish I looked at education the same way she did, I don't always try my best. I also make up excuses why I cant do my work or homework and stuff. She is such a strong person, she pushed herself, she did the 'impossible' and made it possible. Liz Murray was a dreamer but she made her dreams a reality and I respect her so much for pushing herself more than anyone had ever pushed her in her life. I liked how she didn't ever feel bad for herself. It is an amazing story and really is an eye opener. She wanted to strive to be something better than what she came from she wanted to be better than her past and she did. I loved the movie, it was great.

  1. I agree, Liz Murray taught us that there is no determination greater than your own. She was living proof that distractions and procrastinations were only an excuse, that home life was an emotional tear but can still be conquered.
