I am very excited about Christmas this year. I feel like ill get a lot of cool stuff. I mostly want clothes, and shoes. I love hanging out with my family and friends on holidays, it is a great experience because we have fun and we grow closer together. I think my break will be very fun. I cant wait for new years either, Ill probably go to a party with my friends. Hanging with my friends is always fun. I will probably go to six flags some time this break and ride Texas Giant, Mr.Freeze, and Titan. I will also drink hot chocolate and wish for snow. I will also eat festive things. I will also be spending a lot of my time at church. Most of all I will love being worry free and just not be worried about school work or school at all, because NO SCHOOL. Have a Merry Christmas! :-)

By going to college I hope to accomplish many things, such as learn to do things on my own, to find a job or career that suites me, and have a nice life with no money problems. I am not sure where I am going to college at this very moment but I have few in mind. I would like to go to Colorado University because it is beautiful up there and doesn't cost too much. I love Colorado so I think it would be a great place to attend college. Characteristics that matter most to me while choosing a school would have to be hard work and dedication to one school and to work hard to be able to get into that school. I will seek input from my family members and friends because they always have the best interest. I know they will help me decide a college perfect for me. I want to not worry about money or the price of things. I want to be able to buy my children whatever their heart desires. I want to be successful. I want to also have fun in life and live.

I have many plans for thanksgiving break. For example I will be hanging with my family and friends a lot, suppose to be going to a bonfire with some friends so that should be fun. I will also eat lots of foods such as turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and many more. We all need this break right now, to just chill watch TV and hang with good people. I will also go see the "Mocking Jay" it came out last night but I will be seeing it this weekend. Also, I will be going to my sister cheer competition which is always fun. I love thanksgiving break because you get to eat and be thankful for everyone in your life and you get a pause on your life for a week its great. I hope you all have a good thanksgiving as well, stay safe and eat a lot!

Most teen jobs could be in retail, or at a restaurant, or as simple as a grocery store. I have worked at a restaurant and I personally didn't like it. I think a job in retail would be more fun for girl teens around my age. You can have little or no job experience and still be able to work for these places. For a possibly interview you would have to prepare yourself for many many questions. You have to sound smart and like you know what you are doing or they might not choose you to work there. You have to look professional, like maybe just a nice shirt and a nice pair of pants unless you are going for a more higher up job, then you'd probably wear a skirt and a nice shirt. You don't want to look like you are trying to hard, or not at all. I had an opportunity to work at justice, but I had another job at the time. I think I would like to work a Justice, I would most likely just restock or handle merchandising and stuff like that. At food places it is really fast paste and i'm not super fast I like to keep things slow so I think retail would be the job for me. I might actually get a job there soon, not sure yet though. I just know a job right now in my life will be good for me. Jobs help a lot, they teach you responsibility and how to talk/handle people. I feel like those are the most likely jobs to allow teens to do. I would like to work at a retail place like Justice.

This movie I thought was amazing because I don't always realize the consequences of getting bad grades or not going to school but she had a daily reminder, her parents. Honestly, If my mom died and my dad had AIDS and a drug addiction the first thing on my mind wouldn't be going to school. I think it is incredible I wish I looked at education the same way she did, I don't always try my best. I also make up excuses why I cant do my work or homework and stuff. She is such a strong person, she pushed herself, she did the 'impossible' and made it possible. Liz Murray was a dreamer but she made her dreams a reality and I respect her so much for pushing herself more than anyone had ever pushed her in her life. I liked how she didn't ever feel bad for herself. It is an amazing story and really is an eye opener. She wanted to strive to be something better than what she came from she wanted to be better than her past and she did. I loved the movie, it was great.

Honestly, doing the college budget it was crazy how much money I need for college and I didn't expect groceries and textbooks to cost so much. This has really opened my eyes and made me realize I need to start saving up for college right now. I have a job but i'm a kid all I wanna do is spend it right when I get my paycheck. I think I am gonna start taking some money out of my paycheck and put it in a separate account it something so I wont be tempted to spend it. It was a real eye opener especially because most kids get money from their moms so the fact that you had to do this budget all you and your parents aren't paying for anything was very interesting.

I honestly am not completely certain of what I want to do, but I think being a lawyer for criminal law or for family would be my top career i'm considering. My moms best friend is a lawyer for family law and it sounds really interesting to me. I would actually enjoy researching criminal law. Being a lawyer also requires you to argue a lot, and I love to argue i'm not really sure why but arguing is just fun for me. I am also good at winning arguments, i'm very stubborn basically. I am not sure if I really want to be a lawyer yet though but next year I might intern with my moms friend or something during the summer and that may determine weather I want to do that or not. I have a few other things in mind but a lawyer interests me most right now.

I scored at 13 out of 24 which basically means I have my life fairly under control, but there are many things that get me stressed. It is usually very unnecessary stress, about things that simply aren't a big deal but I make it out to seem that way. Many things stress me out such as my friends, my family, and school work. I have to deal with all this stress at the same. To avoid a lot of stress I take time to myself and turn my phone off, all distractions and I just sit there, it is very peaceful. I do have very supportive people in my life that I love dearly, but sometimes I just enjoy being home, listening to music and worry free. I try not to let the little things stress me out, but I keep a lot of my stress inside and it all builds up and I blow up pretty much. To prevent blowing up I try to distance myself which can be hard because your friends think you're mad at them, you're parents are worried when really all you want is some peace and quiet to regather yourself. I enjoy listening to music when I get too stressed, it tends to help me a lot. I also don't get a lot of sleep, So i think if I get more rest that would help my stress level go down, I just have so much to do and so many distractions. taking a nap will help, music, and getting rid of distractions. At least that's what helps me, and I hope it helps you as well.

I like to be organized, to be more organized with my school work I keep different subject classes in different folders so I dot lose them or mix them up I can just have my work ready to go. I am a teenager, I tend to procrastinate sometimes it is bad, but i'm trying to control it and not be so bad at doing my work so last minute. I have learned that doing things right when you get them instead of procrastinating and you get a better grade and it is way less stressful. A way to help you from procrastinating is to keep a planner and put all assessments and when they're due, I started doing that this year and it is starting to make a difference.

Hello, I am Madison Collins I am very excited for this class, and think it will be quite helpful for my future. I am a cheerleader at Life School. I have many friends that I enjoy to hang with and go places with. I am not sure what I want to do after high school, but hopefully this class can help me decide and give me good opportunities. I have been at Life School since 2nd grade and it is a pretty nice school.
