Honestly, doing the college budget it was crazy how much money I need for college and I didn't expect groceries and textbooks to cost so much. This has really opened my eyes and made me realize I need to start saving up for college right now. I have a job but i'm a kid all I wanna do is spend it right when I get my paycheck. I think I am gonna start taking some money out of my paycheck and put it in a separate account it something so I wont be tempted to spend it. It was a real eye opener especially because most kids get money from their moms so the fact that you had to do this budget all you and your parents aren't paying for anything was very interesting.

  1. I agree that when teenagers get money they instantly want to spend it. I think that setting a certain amount of money aside into a savings account from each paycheck you get is a great idea and i will do that also. (:

  2. Yes, spending our money wisely now can reflect on our choices later in college when our money is tight. It is wise to save now and open an account just in case you fall in debt or have an emergency come up. You never know what might happen so you have to be prepared now, now is your training! Good Job:)
